Revive Care is a ministry of Revive Church committed to serving our community at large. We partner with trusted organisations locally, nationally and globally.
North Korea Relief
North Korea has been the most dangerous place to follow Jesus since 2002. If discovered, a Christian may be deported to a labour camp as a political criminal, or even killed on the spot. Their families share the same fate. Any Christian material is illegal, and the worshipping of any other entity other than the nation’s leaders is forbidden.
Currently, North Korea is going through its worst famine in a decade. Rations have been halved, leaving vulnerable Christians at extreme risk.
By funding the North Korean Relief project, Revive Church will provide for the physical needs of Christian refugees from North Korea. This will include food, medicine, safe houses, shelter and other forms of emergency relief. With the support of Revive Church, North Korean Christians can reach the aid they desperately need and continue following Jesus, no matter what they face.
A Message From Open Doors
We are excited to commit to this project that will last for 1 year.
The goal is to raise $20,000 to fully fund this project.
You can also give through the Revive Church Account. Please write “North Korea” as a reference.
Revive Church has partnered with Samaritans Purse (Operation Christmas Child) program for the past 12 years. Operation Christmas Child program distributes shoe boxes filled with toys, hygiene items, school supplies and fun items for children in developing countries. Operation Christmas Child is an anticipated program at Revive as people get involved in packing a shoe box for a child to receive in time for Christmas. Revive Church loves this project as children not only receive material gifts but also the greatest gift ever given to humanity, The Good News about Jesus.
Boxes donated in 2019 = 200
