God’s Love Experienced By All

WE ENDEAVOUR TO DEMONSTRATE GOD’S LOVE THROUGH ACTION AND NOT JUST WITH WORDS.

Who We Are

OBU is the charity arm of Revive Church. Since its establishment in 2012, the organization has taken on a number of projects to give back and support individuals, groups and communities through different means. However, OBU is now in an exciting process of restructuring relaunching. OBU is narrowing its focus as an organization and working towards serving at risk youth who are from migrant and refugee backgrounds in the western suburbs. Some of the activities/ services of the organization will include prevention work, advocacy and mentoring.

LETS GET ACTIVE TOGETHER

OBU partnered with Maribyrnong City Council, Ethiopian Women’s Alliance Victoria (EWA), and Saboath Christian Media and Arts Ministry (SCMAM) in 2019 to tackle drug and alcohol harms within the Ethiopian and Eritrean community. This partnership formed a local drug action team that designed a project to promote the positive impact of sport and spending time with family. Below is a highlight of the project and the film that was also done, along with the Evaluation Report.
